I have always loved working out, but after meeting and training with John Oliver my work outs have been more fulfilling and challenging. I was not seeing the results I had hoped for, so I spoke to John about where I wanted to be physically, and size wise. John and I reviewed what I ate for one week; how much I ate & the time I ate it. Well, this is when the weight loss began!

I was not eating enough and eating the wrong foods for my blood type which is O+. I told John I needed to lose at least 15 to 20 pounds before my wedding and I would try anything. John recommended the “Blood Diet”. My wedding date was Nov. 21st 2009.

Every four weeks John would measure me and he expected me to lose 3 to 5 pounds. I started at 173 pounds with 36% body fat.

I ate 5 to 6 times a day and made sure that protein is in every meal including double vegetables and lots of water. I am very strict with following the foods that are beneficial to my blood type. I’m very lucky that O+ blood-type people are able to eat a lot of meat since I love meat! I work out 5 to 6 days a weeks, doing cardio every day and alternating days I work out with weights or different techniques that John teaches you during your work out together.

The moral of this; is if you eat right, exercise and have a Great support system in place you can lose the weight! I lost 19 pounds and 13% body fat in 2 1/2 months. I have never felt better and will keep up the work. John’s goals & mine are to weigh 148 pounds, have 20% body fat, and to maintain this. I’m 38 years old and feel Awesome! I owe this to myself, John Oliver, and my husband John Gulla for all the support and dedication.
