About 5 years ago, I came to John for advice on becoming a stronger and healthier person. We began personal training sessions and I looked at, myself as a “skinny fat girl”. I had essentially stopped working out due to lack of motivation and fear of being the “big girl” I was when playing division I volleyball and had reduced my calorie intake drastically to maintain a lower weight. After our first consultation, we put a plan together a plan to change my eating habits, increase my strength, and improve my overall health.
In the 5 years I’ve consistently been working with you I have accomplished the following goals:
1. 2 half marathons
2. Increased muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance
3. Maintained a healthy weight for my height
4. Lowered my body fat from approx. 26% to 15.8%
5. Improved my overall mindset of my body
